Terms of Service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of opnF.sh. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One person per account — sharing login credentials is not permitted. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Free Content
Level 1 of each course is available for free without an account. Free content may be modified or removed at our discretion.
Paid Access
Subscriptions. Monthly ($15/mo) and annual ($120/yr) subscriptions grant access to all courses for the duration of the billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal — access continues until the end of the current billing period.
One-time purchases. Single course ($49) and all-courses bundle ($149) purchases grant lifetime access to the purchased content. "Lifetime" means as long as opnF.sh operates the platform. One-time purchases are non-transferable.
Organization seats. Free school seats (20 per organization) are provided at our discretion and may be adjusted or discontinued. Team and company seats are billed per seat per month.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. See our Refund Policy for details.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to share, redistribute, or resell course content; use automated tools to scrape or download course material; attempt to bypass access controls or payment requirements; create multiple accounts to abuse free tiers or promotions; interfere with the platform's operation or other users' experience; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual Property
All course content — tutorials, quizzes, labs, exams, text, code examples, and design — is owned by opnF.sh. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the content without written permission.
Code you write in the terminal during labs and tutorials is yours. We do not claim ownership of your work.
Disclaimers
opnF.sh is an educational platform, not a certification body. Completion of courses does not guarantee employment, certification, or specific career outcomes. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
The simulated terminal environment is for learning purposes. Commands and configurations taught in the courses should be tested in appropriate environments before applying to production systems.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, opnF.sh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
